I have previously confessed that I am the WORST gift wrapper in the world and have been known to hand a gift to a child in the bag that it came in from the store. YES I KNOW…. THE HORROR! With an upcoming Christmas time wedding in the family we are planning to keep Christmas pretty simple this year. In the past I typically get a “nice” gift for each child and then pick up many smaller gifts here and there (great finds at rummage sales, thrift stores… GASP AGAIN! But yes it is true).
With less presents to wrap this year I expect to have a little bit more time to spend on wrapping them. I envision white lights, simple decorations, and beautifully wrapped presents lying under the tree. Not sure what the reality of that plan will be but it makes me smile now to think of it.
Under the Table has a tutorial for these darling rolled paper rosettes made old paper. Now the idea of chopping up an old book is a little hard for me to encourage, but I am sure I can purge one from my collection (I only have a few thousand!) Maybe if I think of it as re-purposing an old book that I really didn’t want. THERE. I feel much better now.
