So I came across this sushi making kit and it looked great.. but the idea of raw fish makes me ill and isn’t that what Sushi is? Well before dismissing this kit I decided to google it. And guess what I found out?
Wikipedia defines Sushi as a “Japanese food consisting of cooked vinegared rice (shari) combined with other ingredients (neta). Neta and forms of sushi presentation vary, but the ingredient which all sushi have in common is shari.” The most common Neta is seafood and I guess a favorite is raw fish but it doesn’t have to be that way. So… I might just give this a try.
How about you? Do you like sushi? I think it might be getting a raw deal. Yeah.. I know… I crack myself up too.
