First day of spring! My thoughts are turning to outdoor projects and little flower buds.
My second daughter LOVES stepping stones. Her grandma gave her one for her birthday a few years ago. And she STILL HAS IT! Which tells you something, because I am afraid that in this house things don’t last long. It is not only pretty. It is personal too. Her name and some “precious jewels” are set into it and that’s why it is such a treasure. Although these are designed to be set outside in a garden or walkway, she has hers secreted away in her room.
Garden stones are the kind of gift that would be appreciated by both the young and old. Personalize it for a loved one and let them treasure it for years. And you know what else? It can turn out less than perfect and no one minds because it’s made to be tucked outside in the flowerbed. Everything looks lovely there!
